  • Midtown Square Mixed Use Construction | Farmville, Virginia

"I am very appreciative for all that you have done and are doing for Longwood University. It is a pleasure to work with an organization that espouses integrity and honesty."

    Dr. Patricia P. Cormier
    President, Longwood University

"In the summer of 2004 Pinnacle Construction of Charlottesville, Virginia made a proposal to Longwood University for a mixed use retail/residential complex that would help to relax the ever growing pressure for residential student housing here in Farmville. Built on a 5.5 acre site right across Main Street from Longwood's campus, this mixed use property is a most welcome addition to both the downtown corporate citizenry and to the university student body. Design for "MidTown Square" began in November of 2004 and the buildings are now complete. The 408 student bedrooms are fully occupied and the retail space on the ground floor of the project is currently leasing up. Without the tireless efforts of Pinnacle Construction and its President, William Park, this project would never have happened in such a timely fashion, especially in light of the very aggressive timeline that had to be followed. We couldn't be more pleased with the project or with our relationship with Mr. Park and his staff. The Real Estate Foundation looks forward to other future projects in partnership with Pinnacle Construction/Park Properties."

  • UVA Medical Alumni Headquarters Charlottesville, Virginia

"It is my sincere pleasure to serve as a reference for any of your upcoming customers and projects. When we were looking for contractors to assist with the renovation of our historic office and guest cottage, we interviewed what we believed were the top three contractors in Central Virginia. After listening to your cost-containment and turn-key approach, we were convinced that Pinnacle was best suited to meet our demanding needs and time schedule.

"Fortunately, we continued to feel the same way after the six-month project was complete. As a matter of fact, we were so pleased we asked you to come back and assist us with our significant patio renovation.

"From construction supervision to cost controls, we were very pleased by the services provided by Pinnacle Construction. You have our highest vote of confidence and assurance!"

  • Gastroenterology Clinic Charlottesville, Virginia

"Pinnacle Construction & Development Corporation performed remodeling of our Gastroenterology Clinic, which was done in a very timely and professional manner. We were under great time guidelines and had to have the work commence at a certain time and finish by a certain time while we relocated temporarily. We were very pleased that the complete remodeling was done within our time frame. We were also very pleased that any problems after the fact, which were minimal, were taken care of by Pinnacle. I found Pinnacle responded to our phone calls and communication in a timely fashion, and we are very pleased with the work they did."

  • One East Broad Street Commercial Office & Apartments | Richmond, Virginia

"Redevelopment and Housing Authority provided permanent financing through the utilization of 108 funds for the rehabilitation of the Old Woolworths Building located on Broad Street. The renovation entails the conversion of approximately 24,000 square feet into 20 apartments and commercial space. The rehabilitation was constructed in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation and will be eligible for federal and state historic tax credits.

"We have found Pinnacle Construction & Development Corporation and affiliate companies to possess a thorough knowledge and significant experience regarding the intricacies of developing historic tax credits, along with the design and construction abilities required to perform a turn-key product. Pinnacle and their employees have an excellent and well deserved reputation and we look forward to our continued superb relationship."

  • Historic Maple Manor Apartments Chase City, Virginia

"Please allow this letter of recommendation to be included with Pinnacle Construction & Development Corporation's proposals for development and general contracting services. Our agency financed their historic adaptive reuse project Maple Manor Apartments, for the elderly in Chase City, Virginia. We found them to be extremely resourceful in combining various sources of financing along with providing a high quality of construction on a limited budget. They were able to adhere to a construction schedule while meeting the requirements of our agency and the Department of Historic Resources. Their practicality, dependability, resourcefulness, integrity, and quality are witnessed by being the recipient of the FmHA Section 515 Project of the Year Award in 1993. I am very pleased to recommend this firm for development and general contracting services."

  • USDA Agricultural Center Boydton, Virginia

"Pinnacle Construction & Development Corporation constructed a new office building in Boydton, Virginia, to house the USDA Agricultural Service Center. During the planning process, many changes occurred due to USDA reorganization. Pinnacle personnel worked with us in every way possible to incorporate the changes in space requirements and in design. There were about four complete changes in floor plans and about nine revisions. Pinnacle worked with us on the changes and completed a quality building by the established deadline."

  • Marriott School King & Queen County, Virginia

"Pinnacle Construction & Development Corporation and dBF Associates, Architects were selected by the Marriott School Adaptive Reuse Project Planning Team as part of a RFP to provide a feasibility analysis of Marriott School (King and Queen County), circa 1935, to be converted into elderly apartments. We found them to be an excellent team for the project due to their combined experience as developers, architects, project managers, general contractors, and property managers. They were able to offer a "total package" for assessing the feasibility of our adaptive reuse project. We found them to be very timely, knowledgeable, flexible, and cooperative in this undertaking. We do not hesitate to highly recommend them for feasibility consultation and pre-development studies."

  • 8 Jefferson Place Apartments Roanoke, Virginia

"This is to recommend Pinnacle Construction and Development Corporation as a full service development and construction company I have known the company and Mr. William Park for a number of years in my capacity as Director of Community Development with the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority and as Executive Director of the Roanoke Redevelopment and Housing Authority and I can recommend them highly.

"In Richmond, they took over a project that was an adaptive re-use of an office building that was being converted to housing. A developer had worked for years on the project and was not able to get it moving. After that developer left, Pinnacle came in and planned, financed, and developed the project in a reasonable amount of time. They did an outstanding job on a very difficult project that is now being occupied. They also rehabilitated another building in downtown Richmond that the Redevelopment and Housing Authority assisted with some financing.

"In Roanoke they served as fee developer to the Redevelopment and Housing Authority on another difficult adaptive re-use of an office building to housing. This project included the use of federal and state historic tax credits, a US. Department of Housing and Urban Development insured loan, and other public money to finance the building. They provided outstanding service and advice to RRHA to help us thorough a very difficult and complicated project. Pinnacle knows how to move a project from conception to occupancy. They do an outstanding job of problem solving, have a "can do" attitude and complete their projects on schedule and within budget. They are extremely professional and thorough in their work."

    John P Baker
Executive Director, Roanoke Redevelopment & Housing Authority
  • Monticello Charlottesville, Virginia

"Pinnacle Construction & Development Corporation has provided various design, carpentry, and plastering services to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation over the past two years. I have been pleased with their ability to do the work on time, within budget, and according to specification. The workmen sent on my job were skilled, neat, and polite. Pinnacle's owner/managers, the Park brothers, have always demonstrated a concern for the special needs of a client such as Monticello. They have the integrity to communicate up front any problems that they detect and have been thoroughly professional in every aspect of their management of my projects. I highly recommend them."

  • Old Powhatan High School Community Services Board | Powhatan, Virginia

"[We] can easily recommend Pinnacle Construction & Development Corporation, as Powhatan's experience with the firm has been excellent. Pinnacle recently completed an old high school renovation project where about 25,000 square feet was converted into new office space for the Goochland/Powhatan Community Services Board and community space The project was completed on time and under budget. Contract negotiations with Pinnacle when smoothly, as did construction. We used a design-build/construction management approach, which worked quite well, saving us thousands of dollars. Pinnacle used particularly good judgment on material and equipment selection decisions, with excellent attention to constructibility, energy efficiency, and cost containment. I believe you will find William & Richard Park and the rest of the employees at Pinnacle always pleasant to work with and able to communicate extremely well with everyone, including building inspectors, subcontractors, tenants, and curious neighbors."
